No doubts in my mind about this one!Odds already started dropping and I can see thm get even lower.Why is that? First you must not be fooled by the league position of these two teams Corinthians 19th 0-0-2 GD 0-2, Figueirense 5th 1-1-0 GD 4-3. Corinthians played with their second team in the first round due to focus been moved on Copa Libertadores clash with Vasco which they won 1-0.A
Figueirense are up the tables but this is mainly because in the first two rounds their opponents Nautico and Fluminense both got player sent off and so Figueirense managed to turn both games around(vs Nautico they won 2-1 with winning goal in the 94th minute, vs Flu they were trailing 1-0 and after a player from the home side was sent off they got a point-> 2-2).For this match the away team is missing their first an second choice goalkeepers Wilson & Tiago Volpi so a GK from the u18 team will start the game.This will bring a lot of tension to their defence which is not playing very well as Figueirense conceeded goals in both of their games so far.
As a conclusion, it is highly unlikely that 3rd time in a row Figueirnense would play vs 10 men,as it is so unlikely that last year champions Corinthians would miss the 3 pts in this clash!So a home win looks certain!
